SE Florida Immigration Town Hall

Come learn about the devastating impact of the immigration enforcement and detentions, then learn what you can do to help our immigrant neighbors.

The Christ Church Anti-Racism Task Force, working with the Florida Immigration Coalition, will host this Town Hall on Saturday, September 20, 9:30am-12noon, at Christ Church, 4845 NE 25^th Ave., Fort Lauderdale.

The schedule for the morning
9:30-10am Networking, coffee and snacks
10am Unity Session, moderated by Rev. Vidalis Lopez, superintendent of the South East District of the Florida United Methodist Church, with Dariel Gomez, ACLU of Florida; Rebecca Sharpless, founding director of the University of Miami Immigration Clinic; and Rev. Dr. Andrea Byer-Thomas, pastor of Community UMC, Fort Pierce.
