scholarships

Christ Church United Methodist desires to support and encourage students graduating from high school and students attending college or university. We want to recognize and assist families and students who are active in Christ Church, especially those who need financial assistance to achieve their educational goals.

Christ Church is pleased to be able to affirm educational achievement by providing scholarship assistance on the basis of need and merit, as funds are available.

The Church Council has established a Scholarship Committee to award scholarships to capable and deserving students without restrictions as to age, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality. We are grateful to the people and organizations that so generously support the scholarship fund.

Scholarship awards will be made to undergraduate college students pursuing a bachelor's degree. Consideration for a scholarship award will include evaluation of the candidate's participation at Christ Church, financial need, academic standing, and activities in school, the community and the workplace.

If you would like to be considered for a Christ Church Scholarship, please complete the online application available here.

Scholarship awards are made annually. Applicants must reapply every academic year. The deadline for applications this year is June 16, 2024. Please be assured that all submitted information will be used in a confidential and professional manner.

A complete application packet includes
-- a copy of your Student Aid Report, which you will receive after filing a FAFSA
-- an official copy of your transcript
-- a Christ Church Scholarship Application

The Student Aid Report and official transcript may be emailed to Jeff McNeil, director of operations, or mailed to:
