ANNUAL CONFERENCE OFFERING

During each Florida Annual Conference, an offering is taken to benefit a designated project.  Bishop Tom Berlin has decided that this year's offering will start a grant program for churches addressing childhood hunger.

In Florida, one in five children face hunger, according to Feed America.

Bishop Berlin writes, "...local United Methodist churches stand as beacons of hope, actively engaged in nourishing the bodies and souls of children within their communities. Now, we have the chance to bolster these efforts and extend our reach even further.  ...

"The Florida Conference is proud to announce the launch of a grant program made possible by this offering. It will be aimed at supporting local UMCs across the Conference who are part of a feeding children or who want to start a project. Through these grants, churches will have the resources to initiate or sustain feeding projects specifically tailored to address childhood hunger."

Thank you for your gift, over and above your support of Christ Church, to this worthy project.
