The Blessings Food Pantry provides food for families and individuals in need. Volunteers serve for an additional 30 minutes after closing time to make sure everything is in order for the next day. Opportunities to serve at the pantry include assist with record-keeping; help distribute food; and workroom persons for a variety of activities including organizing and stocking the pantry shelves, etc. Training is provided. Sign up below, if you are interested in volunteering or would like to receive more information about volunteering.
From June 1 through August 1, 2024, Christ Church is encouraging donors to build bags for families whose children are home for the summer, not receiving breakfast and lunch at schools. In Florida, an estimated 1 in 5 children are considered food insecure. Students seeking community service hours are encourage to build and deliver bags.

Food donations may be made any time at the pantry during open hours and at the Fort Lauderdale church office Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm.
*Preferably with pull-tab tops when possible.
Please make sure any donated items are nonperishable and have not expired.
The Blessings Food Pantry is open 9-11:30am Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are willing to help by keeping records, packing bags of groceries, stocking shelves or handing out bags of food, we'd love to hear from you.
