Opportunities for Service Hours on Palm Sunday and Easter


Sixth to 12th graders can earn service hours by volunteering in the following ways on Palm Sunday and Easter:

Palm Sunday, March 29, 8:45-11:15am | meet Mr. W in the gym lobby at 8:45am 

  • help children with palm branches in 9am and 11am services 
  • label sidewalk chalk for Easter Sunday
  • fold bulletins for services 

 

Easter Sunday, April 5, 8:30-11am | meet Mr. W in the gym lobby at 8:30am

  • hide plastic eggs 
  • draw on sidewalks with sidewalk chalk. 
  • help children during egg hunting and returning eggs.

New Director of Youth Ministry


Dear Christ Church/Christ Church School Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I am writing to inform you of some exciting news as it relates to our life together.


It is with a thankful and joy-filled heart that I share with you, on behalf of the Staff Parish Relations Committee of Christ Church, that we extended an offer to Phil Woodard (music teacher at Christ Church School) to be our part-time Director of Youth Ministry, and Phil has accepted the position.


Phil has a passion for young people and a desire to facilitate the faith development of the children and youth entrusted to our care. Phil is gifted in mentoring and building relationships with children and youth, grounded in the God’s love for us, and fulfilling the commandment to love one another as God has loved us.


I look forward to the days ahead, working with Phil in building a foundation for a healthy, vital, and vibrant youth ministry. Please join me in welcoming Phil this Sunday, February 22, at both the 9am and 11am worship services. May God’s blessings abound!
