Sunday mornings are a vibrant time of worship, spiritual growth and community on the Fort Lauderdale Campus.

HOLY GROUNDS coffee time

Before the 9am and 11am services, we come together for coffee and conversation outside the kitchen window in the gym lobby. We'll have the coffee ready about 8:45am, so plan to grab a cup and bring it to worship. We'll have the coffee and snacks out from 10 o'clock to 11, so worshipers from both services can spend time with their church family. 

9am PRAISE SERVICE

Inspiring, contemporary praise music led by Praise Worship Leader Zaria Modesto and the Praise Band is the hallmark of this service in the Fort Lauderdale Gym. This service includes a children's message in a come-as-you-are, relaxed atmosphere. The preaching pastor of the day gives the same message in both Fort Lauderdale services.

11am TRADITIONAL SERVICE
The hymns you grew up with and love are led by accomplished musicians and Director of Music Ministry Chuck Stanley. This service includes many traditional elements including music by the Chancel Choir, the Doxology, and the Gloria Patri. The preaching pastor of the day gives the same message in both Fort Lauderdale services.

AT THE TABLE | 10AM SUNDAYS

Join with fellow worshipers to explore the scripture of the day. Using a guide prepared by Pastor Cathy Johns, each table talks about the scripture and discerns what it might be saying.  Holy Grounds is open, so bring your coffee and snacks and join us in Fellowship Halls 1-3.  This is great follow--up if you heard the day's message or insightful preparation if you plan to worship at the 11am service.

Worship services are livestreamed at christchurchfl.org/live, Facebook @christchurchfl, and Youtube @christchurchfl with recordings available on these sites afterward. 

CROSSWALK

After the children's message during the 9am Praise Service, elementary and preschool students are invited upstairs to the Walkway Room for Crosswalk, a children's discipleship program. During the 11am service, children worship with their families. Children age 3 and under are always welcome in the nursery.

First Sundays of the month are Sit Together Sundays, when elementary school children worship with their families.

ON FIRST SUNDAYS

On the first Sunday of each month on the Fort Lauderdale Campus, we share Holy Communion in both worship services.
