In the wake of the death of George Floyd in police custody and a string of other Black Americans' death at the hands of police, Pastor Brett Opalinski undertook The Shared Stories Project to allow friends and members of Christ Church to tell their stories.

This an opportunity to experience the power and beauty of sharing stories, to have honest and open conversations and to learn the circumstances and events that shape lives.

Sharing stories is a spiritual practice, a way to make room for the Holy Spirit to move and help us grow.

Speakers include Rob and Mark Angle, members of Christ Church; Rev. Nathan Adams, a former South Florida pastor who is now lead pastor at Park Hill United Methodist in Denver; Jason Campbell, praise worship leader of Christ Church; and Mirhonda Studevant, lay leader of Christ Church.
